When I was in high school I would listen to a lot of music.I would mostly listen to urban rap music but from Mexican Americans.I would also listen to rappers like 2 pac and YG with Sad Boy Loko.I was intrigued by how the music made me feel motivated.But I also listened to sad music mainly tributes to loved ones who are now deceased.An example of one is the Felix Medina Tribute a video that pays homage to a young man lost to gang violence.When I listen  to the song I feel I am singing for a lost loved one of my own.But the lyric that stands out to me from that song goes,”you’re always in one place and that’s the place in my chest”.Capturing how I feel about the death of my own friend.Another part of the song goes,”tell God to save me a spot right next to ya,when I’m there you know its on cuz I’ll be next to ya.”So yeah this is and are lyrics that will always stick with me for a lifetime.
